Lucan knows Maz and Sando are his mates. So why can’t they see it?

Beta Lucan has seen pack members around him fall in love and find happiness. His road to love seems a lot more complicated, however.

It’s not that he doesn’t know who he wants. He does. His chemistry with sexy alpha doctor Maz was instant, and his friendship with nerdy omega Sando has grown into love.

The problem? Maz doesn’t want a relationship, and Sando is clueless.

Looks like it’s all up to Lucan to make them realize the three of them belong together. But what if they never see it? Will his love be enough?

Beta’s Love is book 9 in the Irresistible Omegas series which needs to be read in order to enjoy the plot lines fully. This friends to lovers MMM mpreg romance ends on a cliffhanger, but these three will get their happy ever after in the next book, Omega’s Truth.

Book Review

An alpha, a beta, and an omega. Sounds familiar in this series, eh? However, the author has done a phenomenal job in not making any of these polyamorous groups similar, and allowing each threesome to really grow as individuals and as a unit. I will say again that these books absolutely should be read in order. Each book builds upon the former(s) and, in my opinion, a reader would be very confused if they simply jumped in willy-nilly.

Seeing as I inhaled books one through eight in this series, I’m actually really glad I took a breather before reading ‘Beta’s Love.’ The fact that the author wrote this book to begin a year before the events in ‘Omega’s Power’, book eight, helped considerably as I was really able to reacquaint myself with the incredible world Nora Phoenix has constructed.

Lucan is a beta and Grayson’s, from ‘Beta’s Surrender’, second son. He is kind and gentle, but certainly not a pushover… he grew up in a household with two alphas and he can hold his own. Sando is an omega, the son of Professor Melloni who discovered the Melloni gene, and Sando is absolutely my favorite type of character. He’s brilliant, nerdy, and has next to no social skills. He’s also twenty-five years old and still hasn’t had a heat; something his dad told him not to worry about. With his dad missing, and presumed dead, Sando is at the ranch continuing their research in hopes of finding a cure for this gene that causes so much pain and suffering to omegas. Maz is an ob/gyn medical resident whom Enar knew and worked with in the city. Maz has moved to the ranch and is working two days a week at their free omega clinic, and working four days in the city at the hospital. Maz is another atypical alpha in that he believes in equality. Unfortunately, due to trauma he grew up with, he’s fairly resistant to ever having a relationship.

These three men are amazing to watch. Each of them has their share of vulnerabilities, but they’re also insanely strong and independent. Sando is so very clueless about human interaction and social cues, so the more I learned about the life he’s had with his father the more I kept hoping that Professor Melloni would not be found after being kidnapped. Unfortunately, that wish was not meant to come true, but there’s something very hinky going on in regards to this father and his son. I suspect there will be some serious revelations coming about in the final book that will revolve around Sando and his birth origins.

I loved this addition to the series and returning to this world. There’s a lot of intrigue going on and I’m really looking forward to seeing how the author plans on tying up all the loose ends. Their world is in political upheaval, the AWC wants Lidon and his “pack” exterminated because they can shift, not to mention are they going to find a cure for the Melloni gene so omegas aren’t at such horrible risk of death?

Trust me when I say: if you love urban fantasy, shifters, mpreg, and multiples then you won’t want to miss this series.
