Come to Rainbow Island, where all your sexual fantasies will come true.

James, Guard and Damien continue to grant the sexual fantasies of their clients, but so far have been unable to make Rainbow Island work for their own relationship. Damien misses being home more often with his lovers, though, and Guard has been working on breaking down James’ defenses. As the men move from one-week to three-week stays for their guests, can they make their own fantasies come true, too?

As always, three different fantasies are granted through Rainbow Island.

Tim is rich and bored now that he’s sold all his companies. A sometimes sub for the occasional evening, he’s searching for something more. He’s seen ‘lifestyle subs’ who indulge 24/7 and he’s curious to see if it really works. Full time Dom, Rain, is brought in to give Tim the experience he’s been looking for, but Rainier has a secret—he’s been watching Tim in the club for years, just waiting for Tim to get serious before making his move. Can these two men find what they need in each other?

Mike has been hired to be a submissive for three weeks. He doesn’t know that much about the lifestyle but has been assured that he won’t be damaged and that he can stop the proceedings at any time. He figures he can handle it—besides, the payday is too good to give up and will keep him off the street and fed for a long time. Dom Brendan is handsome and confident, and the things he shows Mike have him more than a little turned on—in fact, they speak to something deep inside him. Could he have found something more than just another job in Brendan?

Angus and Robbie are a committed Dom/sub pair who want to spice things up a little and see if puppy play is for them. They’re excited and nervous to learn this new aspect from Sam, the puppy master that Rainbow Island has brought in to show them the ropes. They discover there’s more to puppy play than they’d imagined and not all of it is for them. Can they separate what they need from what they want and come out stronger than ever in the end?

Book Review

This final book in the 'Rainbow Island’ series was my favorite – not just because the ongoing relationship between the three resort owners began to really develop after all the issues Damien, James, and Guard had experienced previously. That is not to say that the relationships between the three “guest couples” were any less fascinating or hot than before. On the contrary, the three couples are very varied in what they’re looking for, where they come from, and how experienced (or not) they are with BDSM. It made for a fascinating mix of very kinky adventures.

Rich businessman Tim is bored without working eighty hours a week, has been adrift for two years, and while he knows he is a sub and craves someone to take care of him, he has no idea how to go about it. He is willing to immerse himself in the lifestyle 24/7 for three weeks to see if that will help. Full-time Dom Rainier, Master Rain, approaches his task with all seriousness, but, even though he has watched Tim flit from Dom to Dom for a while, has no idea what to expect once they get together. It quickly becomes obvious that he is exactly who Tim needs, but their differences in “real life”, once they get off the island, are not all that easy to deal with. I loved following their journey – it isn’t just scorching when they play, but psychologically interesting to watch Tim settle into a role that fulfills him on more than one level.

Mike is homeless and sees being a sub for three weeks as a good source of income. He has never been into BDSM before, but figures he can handle pretty much anything for that time. Brendan is an experienced Dom, but he is tired of all the games and the posing in his normal BDSM circles. He wants a newbie, and Mike is certainly that. Watching both of them go through experiences they have never had before, Mike not knowing what to expect and Brendan only hoping he can find what he wants, was a real treat. Mike’s questions and reactions felt very real for someone who has never been into BDSM before, and Brendan’s delight at getting to teach Mike all sorts of kinky stuff was wonderful to get to see.

Angus and Robbie have been together for ten years, as a Dom/sub couple, and want to try something new. A vacation is just the right time to do that, and since they are curious about puppy play and need a professional “puppy master” to show them how it is done, three weeks on Rainbow Island is just the way for them to figure it all out. They have a lot to learn, and not everything is as easy or pleasurable as they had imagined it to be.

I think I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: Damien, James, and Guard finally getting back together and figuring out how to stay together despite all the issues and obstacles they have faced, was the best part of this novel for me.

If you like the idea of four-stories-in-one-novel, if you want to see different types of couples experiment with BDSM, and if you’re looking for a super-hot, kinky reads with lots of emotions, then you will probably like this novel. Too bad it seems to be the last in this series!
